Once again, I have the honor of awarding a new member their first point. Welcome to AutoPuzzles, tonyola!

QuoteThe 1935 Pierce-Arrow Silver Arrow coupe was offered on a 144-inch chassis, in 8-cylinder and V-12 form.

Did YOU make a repost, or is it a different car from this one? http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=5558.0
Your picture is not sharp enough for me to see.

EDIT:  :bag: Of course it's not a repost, and I just made a fool of myself.

Same builder and type name, quite different cars. The 1933 car was 'out there', the '35 car was more conservative, with separate front fenders.

Here´s a scan of a 1933 press photography, I´ve found some weeks ago at a belgian flea market.

Does anybody know who´s the man standing aside of the car?

QuoteEither Pierce or Arrow maybe?

:D

I think there were only five Silver Arrows built.

And one made its way to Hollywood. I want to find out who this may be, really.

It might be actor Brian Donlevy, if his hair weren't parted on the wrong side. I would need to see an enlargment of his face.

Hi Faksta, here´s a detail of the driver.
You might be right with him - I´ll check this.

Thank you very much!!

You talkin' to me?

Here is Brian Donlevy. There is a resemblance, but to many things differ (on the Pierce man hairdo, thicker hair, plumper cheeks...)

You have probabbly addressed this to Ray B., as I believe my response was not too helpful after all :)
