Car is the PataRay built by Ray Fageol, currently of El Cajon, CA. It was restored and appeared at the Oakland Roadster Show shortly before reported stolen and disappeared......
The engine is a Fageol Twin Coach 6 cylinder bus engine. The rear of the car was made from the remains of the 1946 Fageol Twin Coach Indy 4 wheel drive race car (#10). The suspension was similar to that used in the post war buses using rubber in shear as the spring medium.
He must be very old, indeed. He started a bus company 94 years ago, and he's posting on Hemmings today.
