Hmmmm.....tiny little tail lights, wide whites and "peanut shell" hubcaps. Something in the 1948 -1951 range,  Bulbous but not unattractive styling.  Looks like a Hudson to me..... ???

Is it a Cadillac, with a Pininfarina body?  I know that one was coachbuilt for Rita Hayworth in the early '50's, but don't know if this was it...

For some reason, I'm thinking... Packard? 1948 Vignale perhaps?

I didn't say it was or wasn't. After not solving the puzzle for two months, you need a right away answer, eh?  ;)

Packard by Vignale it is.

In 1948, Ralph Marano's Packard cabriolet was created by Carrozzeria Vignale of Turin, Italy, from a pre-war One-Twenty with separate fenders and headlights. Its impeccable proportions earned the Chairman's Choice Award from Bruce Wennerstrom at the 2003 Greenwich Concours.

I thought instant gratification was what the intarweb is all about! Besides, I know my inherant rightness is so impressive that it's easy to get lost in, which is why I gave you 24 hours to comtemplate it.

That and I figured I slipped below the radar.  ;)
