That is is. I'll give a bit more detail over the weekend.
This car has been referred to as an SCCA B/Production Corvette Killer and was racing for the National Championship when it bent a valve overevving due to a Corvette spin on the track and lost the championship by 7 seconds running on 7 cylinders.

It was Jim Pascal that raced the AMC Javelin in Nascar. He did very well. Won quite a few races. Yes, Nascar had a pony car racing division. Pascal was one of the best.
