I found the exact same photo on-line but without any caption or details.
I scanned entry lists for No.18 and that was my first guess.
Perhaps it's the Consul Special 1500cc of J. Baylis?

Won't be long, and it's a desert up here - all the interesting stuff gets sorted out before we get a go!

There must be a solution to that Allan - I understand your point of view.
Time to reflect on how one can address that I think.........
