Dalm, that's slick!
Built on a roadster body with a Corvette engine. This car also has a unique bubble top that moves electronically.
Apparently it's removable, but looks stunning on the car....or maybe it IS on the car, I cant tell from the small pic.
The car is called the Double Bubble built by Richard Korkes of New York.

1962 Jaguar XK-E restyled in New Jersey by Dick "Korky" Korkes for Bobby Freedman. Built out of a fastback coupe, it featured a double Bubble Top split by a center panel with chrome bands across the roof. The hood was shaved and molded to the body to achieve a cleaner appearance. Side scoops trimmed with two chrome bars were made behind the front wheel openings. The headlights were tunneled into the body and the headlight housings were chromed. The Jaguar Bubble-top was powered by a fuel-injected Corvette engine. The car was fit with a pair of unique chromed pipe-style headers. Once the bodywork was done, it was painted Candy blue.

I think you got me. My book neglected to mention who it was built for. (Bobby Freedman as you say.) Nice work.
At least I got the cars apparent name "Double Bubble".

Hi Otto. I am a new member. I have been looking for this car for quite some time. The pics you posted, I have never seen. I am hoping you may have some info that might lead me to finding it and hopefully buying it. If there is anything you or anyone else can do in this effort, I will gladly pay a finders fee. My e-mail is 61jag@comcast.net
Thanks-Steve

Hello, compcar98 - welcome to AutoPuzzles

Unfortunately, I have no idea if this car still exists, let alone who the current owner might be.

Sorry  :-\
