Italian Coachwork?
Alfa?
Fiat Osca 1500 from 1959, with design by Bertone (Scaglione was the chief designer at Bertone at that time).
Right on!
Actually, this car is not based on the OSCA 1500, but on a Fiat 1200 Granluce.
The difference between both cars is that the one who is based on the OSCA has a large air intake on the bonnet while the one who is based on the Fiat has a small one (as shown on the picture).
Hi, I just saw this puzzle, I am the owner of the 1959 Fiat Osca Bertone, as far as I know the one in the picture is the 1958 model, and was showed at the Geneva Motor Show. From my correspondence with Bertone I learned that they presented the same care (same engine and chassis numbers) in 1959 with a modify hood (larger air scoop). My car will be restored hopefully by the end of next year, and if anyone is interested I'll post pictures

We would like to see and hear every picture and tidbit you can tell us about it!!
Please. You can put it all right in this thread. If you do this we will feature it on our front page as a Rare Car of the Week.
Here a side view (1959 version with the larger scoop).
Love it. Unmistakable Franco Scaglione.
When I was a kid, I thought cars would look like that in the 21st century. Alas, I was wrong.
Has anyone a rear view of it?
