Tom Tjaarda's 'TT Chrome Barchetta' scale model from 1999

You made quick work of that one.

The late Tom Tjaarda was rather underwhelming in my humble opinion while he made some real design
icons in his 20s-30s.
The Ghia Serenissima is though rejected by Conte Volpi one of my all time favourites.

His simplest designs were his best. I really like the first-gen Ford Fiesta.

I'm reading just now an interview with Tom Tjarda and Aldo Brovarone in the recent issue of OldtimerMarkt. They talk about their time together with the recently deceased Sergio Pininfarina.

Don't you mean the late John Tjaarda?
His son Tom (designer of the Ghia Serenissima amongst many other beautiful cars) is still alive as far as I know?

I meant Tom who is in his late seventies today...
