A half guess but is it a Porsche Bergspyder?
No.
Pro food!
It's not a (http://www.myparadise.de/images/product_images/popup_images/2177.jpg)!! ;)
As I've tried to explain in the first hint the puzzle car has something in common with the one on the lead...
Martini? (that's a 1967 BMW-Martini prototype in the last picture).
Look at my previous post... (Reply#5)
maybe unintentionally you gave the right hint..
:bag:

Not an RS, but based on a BMW 700 indeed. One of three ever built.
The car as it looks today:
That last pic looks Colani!
It's not Colani related.
Down the hole?
It's a hillclimb car?
Group 6/7
For some reason it looks familiar :-\
Is it Swiss?
I'm not 100% sure, but most probable it's not from Switzerland. It's for sale and the owner is definetely from Germany!
It's an SWM from 1963 :)

Well done, but this isn't the complete name, is it?
On that site it is featured as a BMW SWM Rennsportwagen, but I'd suppose that 'Rennsportwagen' is rather an additional information (I doubt someone would call his car Rennsportwagen :) ), so contrary to that I'd prefer to call it SWM - BMW 700 :P
Well done – and another one's gone!
My first answer !
The SWM cars build in Germany - Bodensee area from Karl Mannl
He build a SWM Coupe. too
Welcome, Kale!
Thank you for the additions. Is there any further information available on SWMs? I have found even a mention of Honda S800 powered SWM, raced at least in 1972.
Today I´ve met a very sympathetic guy at a Frankfurt automobilia swap meet.
And as he had tons of cool brochures and photos at his stand I´ve asked him if he knew autopuzzles.com.
He indeed knew it and told me was the owner of an open BMW 700 SWM spider, maybe the yellow one?
I try to contact him again, maybe he will agree to mail some photos...
some my modified images -
Geoffrey Hacker is looking for more info about SWM.
I saw that Allemano started both puzzles (the Spider and the Coupe) while Faksta and Woodinsight solved them.
Kale seems to be gone but Grob, are you still in contact with the owner of the Spider?
Are there any other info available?
No, sorry - unfortunately I´ve lost his company card... :(
A magazine scan of Karl Hurler with the SWM-BMW at the 1965 Peissenberg hill climb race:
