I guess this is not easy, so, let's start it from the Experts!
Amazing! I have a couple more pics, but not the name or any other info...
I'm not sure about the infos I have, but I believe we'll find the right solution in a couple of days/weeks..

Thanks again! :)
up
I'm in the same situation as Arunas, unfortunately.
Guess I'll have to start somewhere... From Belgium ?
Ahm..seems that I know at least something - it is Soviet and self-made, right?
Soviet...yes!
..but not from Russia.
From one of the Baltic countries?
No!
Armenia?
Not Armenia if I'm not mistaken
Ukraine?
neither
Georgia?
Belarus?
same name as a famous ocean liner..
Titanic?
Sorry, the shot in the dark didn't hit the target.
Lusitania?
Olympic maybe?
None of the mentioned names.
Mauretania?
No.
Imperator?
Rex?
Nononono!
Andrea Doria ;D
No, but at least something is correct...
Did this ocean liner famously sink?
If not, perhaps it's the Stockholm you are after, renamed "Athena".
No, it didn't sink. It's something different it has in common with your first guess.
Rex?
No.
Wow - I'm in a slump.
Is the ocean liner Italian?
No, it's about the name...not about the nationality.
In this case it's not Italian either
OK - a non-Italian ocean liner famous for not sinking. ;D
Well done!
America?
German Liner?
No.
Come on! It's not so hard to find the name of this VERY famous ship...
Nonce has mentioned Victoria....
That's right and you're tending in right the direction. The name is still different.
Queen Victoria
Still not Victoria!
Queen Mary?
Veeerryy close!
Elizabeth
Just.... Mary
Mary 2?
It's called "Mary 2", (translated).
I give you one point and spend another one for who gives me the missing part of the story... (the name of the builder for instance)
Thanks! and that will be all for me :)I cannot find any info on this car
Vahtang Dvalishvili from Georgia was the builder of the car from 1985 which was called Maria (or Mary, if translated). Maybe this is a next car built by him?
I knew that one of our Russian speaking members would solve this puzzle. Well done!
The puzzle car was actually built in 1986. That's at least what my source reports.
Here's another pic from one of Mr. Vahtang Dvalishvili's creations. Maybe that's the first Mary. (Maria)
I just had to translate the cyrillic letters via Google Translator and the content of the text is not that clear to me... :-\
This car was most likely equipped with a V4 engine, but I don't know from which donor.
Vahtang Dvalishvili lived in a city called Kutaisi in the western part of Georgia.
Two more fuzzy pics. These are all I have.
I was referring to the first Maria - that was built in 1985 as far as I know, and that is indeed that red car which you have posted.
A similar problem tried to solve Vic Dvalishvili, architect of Kutaisi. But, having its own design concept, Dvalishvili renounced the use of any body parts were ready. Body length about 3.4 meters, he vykleil of fiberglass and tried to make it at such a small amount of maximum roomy inside. For this example, the amount saved on the seats - they are thin, hard, but quite comfortable thanks to a specified anatomical form (such as seats in trams Tatra).
The engine of the car ZAZ-966v, unlike machines Gorbunova, Kutaisi car-installed rear. A suspension and wheels used on motokolyaski NWA.
Mass of the car, which was named "Maria", amounted to 640 kilograms. Number of seats - two adults and two children. Speed - up to 90 kilometers per hour. In 1985 Dvalishvili with its original design has successfully participated in an international auto race, and a year later presented at the exhibition of scientific and technical creativity of youth is even more elegant "Mary 2".
:)
Very good puzzle! :applause:
I can share this full picture:
The other picture I have is more or less the same as Allemano's second one.
Arunas, that picture is terrific:
I can recognize the Pangolina and another one...I hope you will put them all in your new project!

I think the yellow car next to the Maria 2 in that photo is another puzzle that hasn't yet been solved.... should be a big help for someone!
It is Olympia as I've replied, but pnegyesi says it isn't. At I think it really isn't because there are some visual differences.

Pangolina and many others. Already 300+ and still slowly counting.
Very interisting pic! I guess most of them are still unknown to the community...?
