This looks like the Mazda Luce designed by Bertone. Displayed at the Tokyo Show in 1963 it was intended for production in 1000 and 1500 cc versions. Production version ended up a lot different (and better) than this model.

I couldn't find this picture, or any other picture, but front part of this car looks like first mazda 800 van.
in 1962 mazda showed at japan motor show mazda 1000 prototype, maybe this is that car, but I haven't found that picture, so I am not sure.

You've said something right and something incorrect. I close this for you till your next reply to give the right answer. According to my source this car is not a Luce.
-
I still think my first answer is correct. This model is sometimes referred to as just Mazda 1000 but at the 1963 Tokyo Show it was clearly (big number plate in English) promoted as the Mazda Luce.

This is a Mazda Luce. It doesn't look anything like to me and the Luce is a much bigger car!

Thanks Carnut! I was about to write the same!

What will be your final answer before I unlock it for all again?
-
Carnut's picture is of the 1966 production Luce, not the 1963 pre-production model. The car shown was developed into the Familia and Luce used for the larger car in 1966. I could send a photo of the car from the 1963 Tokyo show clearly showing the Luce name plate, but I can't seem to attach images. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

PM sent!

Obviousely JR is correct!
I knew this picture JR posted to me, but haven't recognized it's the same as the puzzle car:
-
As I said elsewhere, I learn something every single day!
Was this car really designed by Bertone, as the production Luce was?
-
Solved.
-
So this really is a Bertone design?
This was the Giugiaro era at Bertone, but I suppose it does bear some resemblance to some of his designs, e.g. the Iso Rivolta.
