Please be patient Pros! First the Expert should take a look at this...

Oswald

06 is a Landar R6.
This one is of 1966 and is raced here by Tim Dyke at either Prescott or Oulton Park.
It's as much fun to scare as to be scared

Right you are! I believe this wasn't the easiest one...
I have it only as '1966 Landar', but I guess you know what you're talking about.  :)

#17 is not a regular Cologne built car.

They didnt have a rear wing, the airdam was different, and the wheelaches look more like the earlyer RS 2300 ones.

Could it be one of the Allard converted ones?

They built some with Mustang V8's in them.

Edit.

I think they gave them some weird name like "Mustapi", or "Caprang", or something like that...

Allemano

Got no infos whether it was equipped with a V8 engine, but I believe it was not.
What I know for sure is that it's not an Allard conversion.

EDIT: none of the mongrel names you've mentioned.

Cooper should be T33 then
Yes, but remember that many Cooper type numbers are retrospective having been developed by writers to identify the various models.

The same photo appears in  Doug Nye's Powered by Jaguar and the caption says it shows John Cooper in the first Cooper-Jaguar, chassis number CJ-1-54, outside Cooper's Surbiton factory.  The "CJ" chassis designation suggests that, at the time they made it, Cooper thought of it as the Cooper-Jaguar.

No idea about any of the others though - not in any of my limited collection of books

05 looks to me like a Drogo-designed car, am I right?
