An armoured car (obviously).  From Fiat?

This is the Škoda PA-II streamlined armoured car from Czechoslovakia, nicknamed the "Želva" (turtle) for fairly obvious reasons.

Apparently about twelve of these were built in 1923-24. Fitted with four Maxim MG machine guns, they had a 9.7 litre engine with four-wheel-drive, and could do about 70 km/h. However, with four fairly thin tyres, and weighing in at nearly 7.4 tons, I don't suppose they had much off-road ability.

Three were sold to the Austrian police, and are reported to have been used in the defence of Vienna in 1945. It seems that none of these vehicles have survived.

Here's another photo. Apparently the driver sat on the right hand side, and his only view out was through the flap which the gentleman appears to be whispering into, and a similar one on the other side.

Time to give away some points. You know the drill - tell me the name of the car pictured below and you'll be awarded a point  :)
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Ahh, yes. The problem is it's been filed under it's nickname (Želva) while I did a search for the model designation (PA-II).

After merging, I'd suggest to change the topic to Škoda PA-II (Želva) or Škoda PA-II "Želva".
