Now, may I ask, is #11 an E-type? Or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
but a special E-Type with a special name..

;)

Carnut

Right, yes.. For some reason I hadn't seen your reply.
Actually my first thought was also that it was an E-Type, as the 'screen and sills look E-Type, but I was beaten  to asking the question and since it's not solved I thought you'd discounted it as a Jag.

Back to the drawing board then...

#11 is the Jaguar XKE 'El Tigre' show car, a 1961 XKE modified in California in the 1960's.
That grille is a section from a Buick Riviera.
The rear end was different too, incorporating a Porsche 911 rear screen...:

I'm assuming #14 is British?
Ginetta G15 windscreen, Unipower side windows, Mini door hinges, etc.
Still haven't found the answer though.......

You and I are thinking on EXACTLY the same lines!
Doesn't mean we're right though...

I've to disappoint both of you since it's none of the above.
And it's not British either.

Carnut

I'm not at all surprised; if it was British think we would have found the answer by now.
Have thought variously that it's German, French and Australian but have still drawn a blank!
