wheels could be vw golf, so a kit car based on a 356 using modern parts.

Otto Puzzell

Not a kit car; not Porsche-based, with the possible exception of the wheels.

The wheels look like they came from a Ford Fiesta Mk1.

Otto Puzzell

If so, they are a retro-fit. This car predates the Fiesta by a couple of decades.

Arthur Dent

Looks like its Alfa based to me. Alfas are one of the few older cars that share the Ford Fiesta's 108mmx4 bolt pattern.

Otto Puzzell

Nope. This is a one-off, named for it's builder, who was influenced by Porsche, but used a motorcycle engine in this diminutive car.

No sir.

The drivetrain was of mixed German origins - some motorcycle bits, some run-of-the-mill automotive.

I have only this one other picture, of much lower resolution:

The book-shot (screenshot word play) says it all, but it's a Dutch build car.
