I'm going to plump for Metron on that one...

Indeed a Metron it is.  How on earth did you get that one CKC? ;)

Details are limited to the fact that the Metron was a kit car possibly based around the Mini-based GTM Coupe chassis (mid engined two-seter, etc.), but I can't add more more I'm afraid.

Oddly enough, that eBay photo fluttered across my e-mail inbox just a few weeks ago...

A bigger pic.

I'm also swapping the deceptive lead pic, which almost resulted in my second re-post of the morning.

The site where I assume this picture was taken from says : "The notes on the back of the photo read "Taken near the start line of the Fintry Hillclimb (Aberdeenshire) 1983 Mid-engined, Mini based, 1275cc." Thanks to Jim McEwan for the picture"

Quiller

The builder was Terry Smith, and it dates from 1969/1970. Engine was a mid-mounted 1275cc
