It is sort of one of the VBG proposals, but not the X-06 under Le Quement as it is NOT a Renault prototype (big clue!).

A few things I've noticed:
It's very low budget car, because it has 2cv style sliding windows (Edit: R4 windows of course!)
It's assymetric like the modern Mini Clubman. (2 doors on the passenger side)
Was it a design by Matra to replace the R4?
It was a Matra proposal for a basic Renault, but not a replacement for the R4. Locked until your next reply for the model designation.
