I actually had this original picture in my hand last year!
Some Fiore pictures were being auctioned at H&H Buxton last summer and I was there to bid for them.
I didn't get any of the ones I really wanted as they went for much more than expected, but I did at least come home with one original!
The pictures are much bigger than you might imagine; this one is probably nearly a metre wide!

I wanted to get up to that auction to try and bid on a few Fiore items too as I was always a fan of his, but sadly I didn't make it.  I was fortunate enough to work with him very briefly in the late 1980s on a stillborn sportscar project, and he was a very nice chap with huge design talent, that sadly has gone largely unrecognised.

Which one of his sketches did you manage to buy?  I guess it must look great over your fire place!

It's a proposal for a 4WD Lancia.
So far it's still in my loft as I fear if it's put on display it could well fade..
But it's great to have an original piece of his work.

The pictures I wanted were all bought by the same guy in Switzerland, and he has promised me top-quality copies.  I'm still waiting for them but am in regular contact with him so am hopeful they will turn up one day!

A Fiore proposal for a 4WD Lancia sounds most intriguing.  Perhaps when you're next up in your loft you can take a photo of the design and put it up as a Puzzle.  I'd love to see it.
