faksta

Starting from G and 4 letters?

I have two such names in my list, both don't sound Italian (you said this does). Let's try Goux, though.

woodinsight

Not that - try your other one

faksta

It's nearly impossible, because my other one is Grac, and I don't think it has any relation to Grac...

woodinsight

Time for another clue - GxxI (the missing two letters are vowels)

Paul Jaray

Guai?
(It meas 'troubles' in italian)

woodinsight

Giai is correct.
I just need to know who the coachbuilder is for the point.
Locked for Joao until his next reply.

João

Famous like Pourtout or obscure?

woodinsight

Not Pourtout
It's not famous, famous if you know what I mean but not unknown either.
Okay - open to all again

I found the car mentioning that it's from 1937 and Peugeot 202 based. Not a word about the coachbuilder, though.  :-\

The same problem here  :-\

woodinsight

On my reply #20 you will see a bodybuilders plate (obscured) but I can offer you another clue - it is 5 letters long.

Antem? It's Ottin?

woodinsight

Not Dubos.
This builder constructed a body on a well-known British sports car

woodinsight

Barou it is - well done, that was a hard-earned point.
I'll add some more information on this car in the near future
