Some early 1900s Stanley Steamer.

I'd entertain your guess, but as you're no longer a Rookie (congratulations, by the way!), you'll have to wait until this one moves to the Expert section.

Some early 1900s Stanley Steamer.

Not 100% wrong; not completely correct.
You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

Ecnelis

1903 Stanley Rocket steam car, Daytona Beach Florida, Fred Marriott behind the wheel?

Otto Puzzell

You have the right beach. Otherwise, much work remains to be done.  :)

Stanley Steamer with Louis Ross behind the wheel. Date is unclear... 1903, 1904 or 1905... Let's say 1904. ???

Otto Puzzell

That's the ticket. Now, what was the nickname given the car (it had Stanley power, but had another name).

Locked for you for 24 hours.

Ecnelis

It's the Stanely-powered "Wogglebug".

Otto Puzzell

Another point for you.

Louis S. Ross in his steam racing car. This car earned the nick name "Woggle Bug" because it had one Stanley steam engine hooked to each rear wheel. Picture taken at Ormond-Daytona Beach, Florida, in  1905

I have a very similar Stanley record car nicknamed the "Tea Kettle" Is that a different one?

Otto Puzzell

Non-disk wheels, and a different number. Perhaps one is an evolution of the other?
