I thought something along those lines at first, but looking closely it seems this car actually comes from a much colder climate!
Sweden, in fact.... am I right? ;)

...yes!

I've drawn a blank so far, not so much information on the prototypes of this marque.....is it from '67 or before?

It's from around that time.

i'm very close, I found the original picture, so i'm going to be cheeky and ask two questions!
does the car actually have a specific name? and if so, is it the name of a country??

If it has the name of a country then I don't know what it is!
I only know what the car is, nothing else.

A Saab 99 prototype is exactly what it is!

As far as the 'PA 0000' goes that is just a made-up Swedish registration number from the period.
In those days Swedish registrations were black on white (as they still are...) and were based on major Swedish towns or counties, which had single-letter codes allocated, I believe, geographically starting from Stockholm which had  'A' and 'B'. Gothenburg and Bohuslan county had 'O' and Alvsborg county, which is where Trollaetan and the Saab factory is situated, had the next letter along, 'P', being just a few miles north-east of Gothenburg.  In 1956 some authorities were given a second letter as all their possibilities using only 1 letter (and up to 5 numbers) had been used up!  Hence Alvsborg got PA in addition to P.  All that has, of course, changed, as it has in most countries, with all numbers now allocated centrally so there is no way to recognise where a car comes from any more.

Well if I knew all you were looking for was 'Saab 99 prototype' I could've answered this straight away! ;D
Still, was fun looking for it and I got to see some other interesting stuff along the way...

I wondered why you didn't as I thought you were risking losing the point and I was sure you knew what it was!
It's always worth giving any info you have to start with to either secure the point or get it locked for yourself, but all's well that ends well and thanks for all the extra info!
