1958 Sanok prototype 40 passenger bus by Sanocka Fabryka Autobusow in Poland.  It has a 4196 inline six hanging out the back connected to a solid axle with a driveshaft.  It is in a book I have "Polskie Konstrukcje Motoryzacyjne 1947-1960" by Andrzej Zielinski.

i need exact model name for this bus :)

Could it be Silnik Typ S470, the only other name I see in that article.  I don't read Polish, but the pictures and diagrams are fun!

I have found several pictures of this bus online, but it is just referred to as the Sanok tourist bus.

But I've just seen one that gives the designation Sanok SFW-1. I think it's referring to this bus, but I'm only working from Google translations of Polish text, so I'm not absolutely sure.

It certainly is.

I like the way the back seats face backwards, so you can get a panoramic view of where you've just come from through that enormous back window. 8)
