BMW Eigenbau by Petermax Muller
It's a BMW all right and it's an Eigenbau (which of course means self-build, as you knew!) but don't know that Petermax Muller had anything to do with it, although don't know for certain that he didn't either.
Anycase it has a full name which I need along with details of what lies underneath!
Will lock it for you for 24 hours to find out, after which it's open again if you can't!
Good luck.
The only name that comes to mind is Pertrix

That's not one that I recognise I'm afraid.
It's numbers/letters rather than a word actually.
This a 1935 BMW 319 based Special by Ulrich Weinberg of Northern Germany. The car comes with many BMW 328 parts, but currently a General Motors four-cylinder engine is fitted.
Weinberg built the car himself in the eighties and raced it for many years all over Europe but mostly at the Nurburgring.
You've obviously got the car so the point is yours. Well done.
According to my info it actually sits on a 1936 BMW 319/1 chassis and was rebodied in 2000.
Here's an unmodified pic of it:
Here's this car today:
