Jaguar based?
Yes!
Will lock it for you for 24 hours to find out the full facts.
Carnut - Thanks for holding it for me.
Unfortunately I haven't got any further with it - a case of I know the car but can't find it at the moment.
Please unlock it for anyone else to have a guess.

As you wish.
Open to all!
It's a LaDawri Castilian, I believe built by Carl Tate
Well, yes and no.
That's not the answer I'm looking for.
Certainly the body used either is one of those or is closely related, but that's not what this car is - it's based on something else. What?
Is it Carl Tate's car? If so then I believe it had C-Type Jaguar internals.

No, it's not Carl Tate's car.
It does have Jaguar internals, but not C-Type!

That's it!
It is a LaDawri-bodied Jaguar XK140.
Very good.
I've read somewhere that this particular is a TR3 based car. The Jaguar based looks slightly different
