I believe this is an HRG Coupe of 1938

No problem!
You're not showing up as On-line on my computer otherwise I might have thought twice about moving these so they got a bit more of an airing!

That is the right answer.  Apparently it was a Concept and was Triumph-engined.
Another point for you.

The puzzle image is not visible. Was this the HRG Airline Coupé, a one-off with a Triumph Gloria engine and gearbox and bodied by Crofts?

There was only one prewar HRG coupé, so I'm sure it is the same

I've put the picture which is very similar to the one I used for the puzzle back in.
