Of course it's hard to say you're wrong as it looks the same, but there is more to this Cooper than that (this is AutoPuzzles after all!)

So that's not the answer I'm looking for as it's a special one and I need to know its full details; it has also been known by another name during its racing career.

I won't lock it as think most would recognise the body but to find the right answer might take some digging...

It might be hard to pinpoint the car but I'll go for the Porsche Cooper built by Ken Miles in 1956 with model type R-3.

It is a Cooper Porsche as you have rightly deduced, but not that one!

So far I have not got any further than Cooper Bobtail T39 1955/56 with a Porsche engine.
Who owned or drove the car I don't know at the moment.

I know these cars were built between 1954 and 1957 but until I pinpoint which car this is I can't be more specific!

1957 'KelKooper', raced in the USA by Kip Kelso.

search for Google pics "Cooper Porsche" and it's on the 1st page..  (in German Google at least, maybe it differs from country to country)

I have to say that I usually refer to my library and photo database before using Google.
