I can't find a name for this, can someone help me?
I found it too: the pic I mean. Not the name.
Let's park this beauty here...
It's Preston Tucker's rear-engined "Tucker '48"...
In which parallel dimension?
...oh, now I see...
what about the one behind that? ;D
Is this another by the Boulevard Machine Works?
Not this...when you'll find it you'll have no doubt.
They called Dreamboats. "Five Tanks went into this bright red roadster. Four Interceptor-plane were reworked for the fenders; a Bomber tank made the body; Owner M. T. Avila Jr., Tulare California., has laid out $8.200 on into so far. Car has a Ford frame, Chevy Grille, Olds Instruments, and its 17 feet long. A Mere power plant makes it go."

I had this article but the puzzle car seemed to be so big....
Thank you Oguerrerob, 2 points for this long forgotten puzzle and my appreciation for solving this mistery!

Think it says "A Merc power plant makes it go."?
I guess you're right!
Wow! Congratulations Oguerrerob!
I have just found this photo of what is called a 1940 Ford custom by Manuel Avila. I reckon it's the same car - there are too may similarities. Probably the Caddy rear fins were added at a later date.
