Somehow the guy and the houses look very Dutch... But still I have no idea what it could be (I only know in which province the car was registered).

Is it the 1954/55 prototype, called Shelter? The Shelter was built in Terborg  by a Mr. van der Groot in two prototype versions and 4 of those that were supposed to be built in bigger numbers.

We had that one before, (http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=8159.0), this one is not a Shelter and not by Mr Van der Groot.

And actually the Shelter was built by  A van der Goot, not Van der Groot  ;)

Internationale is my only shot yet. Is it home-made one off?

Great! Never heard of this mister Hoen... What I'm surprised of is that this car still has got the old type of license plate (B-xxxxx, from the province Friesland). Since 1951 there was a new license plate system, and as far as I know the last provincial plates were used in early 1956 (e.g. there are some pictures of the very first Citroën DS19 in Holland with these plates).
