Volkswagen Country Buggy?

Paul Jaray

It is a Volkswagen-based vehicle and it is a sort of buggy.
I have a different maker and name for it...

Allemano

Judging by the licence plate size: Italian?

Woksvagen aren't my best expertise field, but I try... Perhaps is made by Greppi?

Paul Jaray

Not Greppi, but for sure someone you know...

guido66

Is it from Automirage?

Paul Jaray

This Carrozzeria is also featured in Sannia's books and in the 'italian coachbuilders' article, with some old Fiats...

pnegyesi

Paul Jaray

Not Viotti...one of the minor ones...

Perhaps Francis Lombardi in his last years?  ???

Did Franco Venturi made a new car?

Paul Jaray

Not the name I have...

als15

So hard to find!  >:( And it's Italian and I know it... However, I'm not able to match this one with any other car I know...
Perhaps Rocco Motto while making autocaravans? Or Carrozzeria Caprera?

Paul Jaray

This Carrozzeria is featured in your books (1 of them), so its not Motto or Caprera, but a minor one.

I'm trying to think to somebody able to manage fiberglass... Perhaps Sibona & Basano?
If not, let me summarize the clues: it's mentioned in one of my books (only one) and has done some conversions on old Fiats (more than one). "Old" should place his Fiat-based work in the first half of my books pattern... Am I on the right way?  ???

Paul Jaray

Not Sibona&Basano.
The first part of the first half of the pattern...(but not the 1st book  ;))

I went through the indexes twice, but of course I'm missing something...
We talk about a coachbuilder who was already active in the Fifties or even before, not a famous name and still working... let me say ...in the late 60s or early 70s, like does this VW look.

What about Colli?

Paul Jaray

I hope my source is not wrong, but it's not Colli.
It's a firm active in the late 30s...
