First step...
Birtish?
Allow me to rephrase that; British?
I don't want to offend any Birtish.
Not Bir\British.
German?
Not German...
Fairly brutish looking vehicle. Internal combustion?
Yep..
Yes...
I'm not sure I understood...
Those hugh wheels make me think of Bucciali altough the coach does not by far.
Still, any relation there?
I highly doubt that....
This is not a Delahaye, is it?
Not a Delahaye...
Pros?
Chenard & Walcker ?
Not that...
Is the make better known for its trucks ? The wheels look very heavy for a car...
Very interesting proportions, indeed .
Did this company build trucks or light trucks, too?
Is Berliet involved?
I can only say that´s a 20s beautiful Latil with Limousine body!

Exactly!
One point for you!
Another point for who will tell me the coachbuilder.
It was used to be a omnibus for hotels:
I found pics of the same coachwork: (but without a particular name, only "Omnibus d'hôtel LATIL type JB ou KB")
There is where I took that pic from...but after I was looking for this model.
Since this is quite hard and was not required I'll wait few days and I'll answer myself.
Could it be this ?
I know Besset worked on Diatto, Berliet, Hispano-Suiza, Peugeot, Genestin, Delage, Rolland-Pilain, Talbot, Voisin Farman and Bugatti...no mention of a Latil in my sources.
Since I was looking for a Latil Limousine by a particular coachbuilder, when I found that pic I took for granted that it was his...but as you said, there's no mention of the coachbuilder with the pic, so I may be wrong...how do you support your guess?
...before 1951... ;D
I simply browsed the well known 'Coachbuilt' source searching for "Latil" and the only result I could find mentioned Besset.
So, that is not an educated guess.
And yes, I obviousely read a little too superficially... :-\ ;D
If I post another vehicle by that coachbuilder, you'll find it at once....(eventually I'll do)
Could it be by Ottin? Same coachbuilder design made for cars like Cottin & Desgouttes....
Currus?

Currus?
:applause: :applause: :applause:
Bravo!
I was reading the Coachbuilding volume of the Beaulieu, and in Currus' entry there is reported that he worked on this chassis...but there was no mention of it on the net, how did you find out?

I was checking the very same volume of the Beaulieu on French coachbuilders that were active in that period.
Thank god the coachbuilder's name started with a C and not with a Z. :D
Wow!
One point for You and João...and another Latil coachbuilt special as a bonus:
For the sake of truth I can't say that this one is the Sedan coachbuilt by Currus, but that was the name I was looking for..
