Oh my god!
-
Do you want to know more than this?
-
I knew it was just a matter of time...but I found few more details for this one: name of the builder and chassis, plus another pic. ;)
-
Is the builder indeed from Germany?
-
Yes, He is.
-
Another view...(the donor car should be recognizeable...)
-
It looks like an Adler. Is there any info available on the Net beside the 1936 article already mentioned?
-
It is an Adler.
I don't know if there is something more on the net, I'll have to check.
-
"a German built eight-wheeled 1.7 litre Adler built by Berlin engineer Gotthard Rimek"
-
...and we have a winner! :cheer:
I didn't know it was a Super Trumpf (I thought it was a bigger Diplomat)...well done!
-
Another photo (note that the designer/builder name is spelled differently and I believe wrongly).
Just another case of not finding the repost by a search......... >:(
-
The spelling of the name in the headline should be corrected as Gotthard Rimmek is correct.
This is his second eight-wheeler. The first one was built around 1925 based on a Brennabor.
-
One more photo and a description
-
make, Model and year please
-
Nothing from the Rookies. Can the Experts do better?
-
Adler Diplomat, by Ing Rimmek, Berlin, 1935
-
Spot on
The picture shows Hans Richter the designer
I'm surprised this particular model hasn't been posed before
-
Thank you for puzzle and point.
-
This car has been puzzled before. Its builder was not Hans Richter, but Gotthard Rimmek.
Merged and picture in the first post amended.
