1 point for the clever mind who will associate the right car to this picture.
Photo taken at a Hollywood movie studio? Did some famous actor jam his or her car between these posts?
You have a very good eye!
No cars jammed between those posts.
This one is very easy.
You should understand how to 'read' this picture.
guido66's guess can be helpful but you all do know this car.
Did it involve a car on two wheels?
Nope...
OK, probably not that easy...but guido was into something...
Is the picture an association to a car that featured in a movie?
Not the car...
(and now I'll count the seconds...)
this is a 'Just for Fun' puzzle, and I'll leave more clues.
1- This pic was taken at a Hollywood movie studio.
2- What for? I mean there should be something more interesting than this view unless...
....this location featured in a movie???
than either I missed it or I fotgot wich one.

There is a car (very famous one) associated to this picture.
The key is not a movie, but the picture itself.
This picture was taken at a Hollywood movie studio...
There is no-movie to look for...but...
this picture seems to be a nonsense...unless...
Am I stupid or is the left pole missing its shadow?
:o
That's weird...
but it has nothing to do with the car...this one is easily solvable with few (right) questions.
Big help #1
Guess the shadow is hidden behind the pole. ;D
However I'm still stuck.
Anything to do with the missing colour?
Not about the colour.
Follow my previous clues or ask for direction..this is not as hard as it seems. ;)

..not a movie...
In particular with the elements of the picture? Has the truck a certain meaning perhaps?
Not any element in particular or the truck....I tried to reveal a bit more in my previous reply (#17) and in the 2nd line of reply 11...
Did it involve a publicity shot of a particular actor and a particular car, like maybe Clark Gable's Duesenberg or something?
That would be possible..
So, could this pic showing the same place which was scenery for a period shot of a famous car before..?

And you too!
How abour James Dean and his Porsche 550 Spyder?
This picture is VERY famous.
If you google the name of the car alone, you'll find it. (1st page)
If you google the actor's name alone, you'll find it as well. (within 10 pages)
Actress?
big clue #2
(not an actress)
found it!

Steve McQueen's Jaguar XKSS Le Mans Racer!
 :applause:
If you google "actor his car", after few pages of Morgan Freeman (?) and others, you'll find it.
Well done and yes, I had fun!
googled (car maniac) Steve Mc Queen Hollywood studios and it appears on the first page.
Yep, it easy when you know it!
and well done to aaron65...your intuition was the right one!
Nice idea for a puzzle Paul!

Steve McQueen's Jaguar XKSS Le Mans Racer!
Ahem!
The car is a Jaguar XKSS (road going version of the D-Type Jaguar). Le Mans never featured in the model name.
Sorry, just did a quick and superficial copy + paste from the page where I found it...
That was the puzzle's puzzle, in my opinion, Paul. The creme de la creme!
Grazie, I'm glad you liked it.
