I need make, model, year and who crafted the coachwork.
One point awaits.

woodinsight

This ahould be relatively straightforward for an expert

Mid 1930's Lancia Astura Cabriolet?  By Pinin Farina perhaps?

Well, it's almost certainly a 1937-1940 Lancia Aprilia, but no idea on the body manufacturer...Italian?

woodinsight

Okay - I'll give you the year - 1938
It's a Lancia Astura - correct Carnut.
Coachbuilder is not Italian however

Was this a really obscure German coachbuilder or a mainstream one?  Cool car, by the way...

woodinsight

This coachbuilder is not obscure.
Their speciality appeared to be open cars such as the puzzle.

I was under the impression that Weinburger and Buhne were two separate companies?
I'll lock it for you until your next reply as you are nearly there.

thorax

I know that Weinberger made some cabriolets Bmw and Bugatti: maybe they made something whit Astura body. I'm not sure about Buhne

woodinsight

Okay, I'm going to give you the point as you were virtually there.
It's a 1938 Lancia Astura 1.3litre by Weinberger.

thanks!  ;D
but: the Lancia Astura fitted a 2.606 cmc 8 v engine, not a 1.300 as you have written

I think my source was wrong on the engine size.
I'll check it and alter the title. Thanks.
