It is one of the less known.
If you search for this name in the whole site, the only result will be in the 'italian coachbuilder' article.

Obscure, having done Fiats in the late 30s...
Perhaps Carrozzeria Italiana or Chiabra & Bertolino?

Paul Jaray

The last letter of this Carrozzeria is not a vowel....and this narrows down a lot the list.
I won't lock the puzzle after the builder's name: make and model is required.

(this carrozzeria is featured in Sannia's books and here: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=7241.0 )

No wild-guesses please, read the clues and only one name will match.

ImpishGrin

I'll probably just make things easier for others, but seeing as I can't find anything myself - is it made by Cattelan?
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Yes, this car was made by Carrozzeria Cattelan from Udine.
What is its name?

Finding pictures of this car, but not it's name... VERY FRUSTRATING  :taz:

Paul Jaray

The car is named after an animal...

faksta

I would call it Gazzella, but it's a wild guess  ::)

If it was a Boneschi instead of a Cattelan creation, I would have made the same guess.  :D

faksta

What, someone was before me?  ;D

It is a Gazzella, by Carrozzeria Cattelan!
(how on earth did you chose that animal among thousands of possible choises?)

Paul Jaray

ImpishGrin found the coachbuilder, 75america found other good pics of it but faksta got the point with a sheer stroke of luck...
another one is gone!

faksta

It's small and Africa-ish, I was stuck between Gazzella and Zebra  ::) But honestly, I haven't found any proof in the web.

Paul Jaray

There is not...the only reference to that name that I've found is in a magazine...
