Do you recognize this car? Identify it correctly and a point will be yours!

P.S. I believe it is not difficult to guess, that I got my grubby little hands on a bunch of microcar-related material. But this is the last one for today - I promise :)

It's an Agora alright, but not an Erad. Locked for you 'til your next reply

Savel: Société Anonyme de Véhicules Européens Légers
it does seem that it was advertised as Erad as well and the Savel site tells the "marque" as being Erad?

pnegyesi

Perhaps, but I saw it in a French magazine as Savel

DeAutogids.nl

It seems that Savel took over distribution of the Erad cars around 1997, but I believe that the car was still called Erad. (from an which seems discarded Savel site; aujourd'hui Président Directeur Général de la SAVEL a repris en octobre 97 la marque ERAD.)

There was a brochure of the Savel Agora without any mention of Erad in it:

Wendax

Back when the Savel site still existed, I printed all of the pages. I looked it up again. The car in question was referred to as the Savel Agora Série 2.

It was stated that Savel was founded by the Erad distributors in the six departments north of Paris and that Savel has taken over Erad. Further on there is no more mention of Erad, but only of Savel. The Savel brochures don't mention the Erad name at all, only the Spacia kept its "erad" moulding in the lower door panels. But that model was soon to be replaced by the Vigane.
