All right! I'm a rookie just turned pro here, but I thought I'd have a go at posting some puzzles here.
I'm aware of the fact that most of you guys here have been doing this for a long time, so bear with me if these are too easy. Any feedback is welcome ;)

Know what it is?

Please, respond below and let us know the make and model designation of the car posted here.

If you haven't registered yet, you need to do so in order to reply with your answer.  You can do so by clicking here.

Also, please be sure to check out our other puzzles, and, please post a puzzle of your own if you'd like - the more, the merrier.  :D

Well, no rookie has made any suggestion about this. Let's bring it to the experts, then.

Kind of looks like the front of a Vauxhall Chevette mated with the rear of a Renault 5 on a 4x4 chassis of some sort. Odd.

@re

Yeah, that Renault 5 thing did strike me too - but that lead won't get you anywhere. There is something Vauxhall about that front end, though - but I don't think that's much of a lead either. The front was considered a bit ugly when the car was introduced (now, that's an understandable opinion) so the headlights were replaced with twin round lamps rather quickly.

Hi, that is a Glenfrome Facet , a prototype designed by Dennis Adams. It was based upon a Range Rover chassis, with new bodywork made from GRP panels on a steel frame.  It was introduced in 1982 and was also sold by Elektair, who had a showroom in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, using their own name.

@re

It just so happens that you're right about that!

Dennis Adams was more usually associated with smooth-shaped aesthetically pleasing designs such as the ones he did for marcos. Must have had a difficult weekend ;D
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Any info/pictures/links on that showroom?

I just received an email from Spain:
"I sell my range rover profile, designed by Dennis Adams and transformed by Glenfrome, only 8 were made for the royal house of Saudi Arabia in the year 1987, is a road with 2 convertible tops one electric and one manual, 3 doors, 3532 cc V8 engine built on the chassis base and a Range Rover G-CR"
