What is it?
Was this maybe more an expert level puzzle? Before we move it over, I'll give another view of the car
Let's give another clue: The photographs were obviously taken in a museum which looks like it specializes in micro cars. This one is by a major manufacturer during WW2
Karn, should we move it to the expert section?
Possibly a Fuldamobile, or one of its many licence-built derivatives
I don't think so; wrong country. Fuldamobil was post-war, this beauty was built a few years earlier.
1942 Peugeot VLV
Correct!
On http://microcarmuseum.com/tour/peugeot-vlv.html it reads:
1942 Peugeot VLV
Like the rest of France's auto industry, Peugeot was forced to turn its plants over to German war production. The drawing office hummed with secret projects, among them the Voiture Legere de Ville (Light City Car). 377 were made. Speed from its electric motor, supplied by four 12V batteries under the hood, was 20 mph, and the range was 50 miles.

Peugeot VLV electric car, 1941.
I knew the VLV (it was a former puzzle). I found this oner under another name, in a well informed website, noticed the remblance though, but didn't check.
I believe that you're right and think I know the connection between Peugeot and this other name.
I'll try to check this and explain it (unless you do it yourself) before I give you the point.
Well, further research didn't bring any proof that this could have been produced also by Delaunay Belleville, as the caption on my source's page suggested (and that would have been a surprise). The Delaunay Belleville facility was bought by de Rovin, another microcar, in 1948, though.
The point goes to Yves of course, I'll stick my head in the mud just after I merge this with the former VLV puzzle.
Another period view -
Some photos I took at 2017 Chantilly Arts & Elegance.
Thanks. I didn't know this car. Now I realise that the PSA VELV (https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/solved-autopuzzles/monty169/) was an updated version of this.
