This car was built by members of the Strategic Air Command in Omaha, Nebraska during 1955.  Chassis was donated by Firestone, gas turbine donated by Boeing.

It is probably more accurate to call it the SAC Fire Boid, or the S.A.C. Fireboid.  With or without the name Kurtis attached.
