It wasn't an official Nissan project, but the winning proposal of an internal contest of Nissan's research center (New Car Concept Contest). It was set up in 1987 to improve the creativity of their employees.
There were a 1:4 scale model, a 1:1 mock-up and finally in 1989 a fully functional prototype.

The car had a mid-mounted 4cyl. four-stroke engine with a capacity of 903cc.
Turbocharged and equipped with intercoolers it developed a performance of 110 BHP at 6400/min and 130 NM torque at 4800/min.
Enough for a weight of only 710kg. Floorpan and body frame were made of aluminium.
Wheelbase was 231cm, track width was 142cm/149cm. L/W/H: 361 / 169,5 / 110cm.

WELL DONE!!  :applause: I think You deserve two points! However, I had this car under the name Nissan 300XM from 1989(?), but Your information is very very interesting! Thanks!

Allemano

The car seems to had an incontinence problem..

Maybe you add the "NTC IF" designation to the topic's title?

Arunas

But what NTC IF stands for? Maybe you know?

Allemano

NTC = Nissan Technical Center, but I don't know the meaning of "IF". ???
