Here's an interesting photo...I'm looking for driver, co-driver, car name, location and year.  5 points total, and you must answer all parts of the puzzle to receive credit.

Was the photo taken in Italy?

A wild guess; in the 1957 Mille Miglia number  524 was the Akton Miller/Douglas Harrison Caballo de Hiero-Chrysler II. They did not finish - brake trouble.

Found this in the Klemantaski Collection - http://www.klemcoll.com :

Thanks for that "wild guess" Pieter...you were right on the money.  I thought this might be a little more difficult puzzle thatn most because of an artice I read in the latest special edition of Hot Rod magazine devoted to the Chrysler Hemi...there was a shot of the chassis from this car as it was being buiilt, and the car was described as being a much less-known effort on AK and Doug's behalf.  The article also raised questions about the car actually being raced at the Mille Miglia.  I knew about this photo from Chris Jones' book ROAD RACE , David McKay Company New York, 1977 that I found in a bargain bin in my local Kmart about 35 years ago.

Thought I might have a stumper...sounds like Hot Rod needs to do a little more homework.
