Not Ireland

I can't remember for certain (it's been a long time since I went there) but I think this country usually has LHD cars.

They did (until about 1968) but all their cars were always LHD...

Okay, before this gets sent to the BH - This is a one-off home made vehicle from Iceland which is named after the man who built it. It's a fairly typical Icelandic name...

You're on the right track everyone of course, I guess this will be unsolved until someone guesses correctly....

Sverrisson?

Woohoo! It IS the Sverrisson!

QuoteSverrisson (195?)

This is a car that my grandfather Einar Sverrisson (b. 1914 - d. 2004) built in the times when cars were luxury and hard to get in Iceland. The car was registered with the brand name "Sverrisson" and was probably constructed soon after 1950, Material came from various sources e.g. frame from Ford GPW (or Willys MB), Chevrolet engine from a small truck, and the body was custom built from wood.
