What car is this, what engine does it use, who carried out the modifications, and for whom?

war

Alvis TD 21, engine 5.4 l Corvette, made for guitarmaker Jim Burns

barrett

Corerect so far. Just tell me who did the modifications and you'll get a point. Locked for you.

barrett

Not Graber. I'm looking for the name of an individual rather than a company. I'll give you one more chance to solve it and then open it up again....

barrett

Okay, open to all rookies again

I believe that Jim Burns helped in the design himself and Jim Keeble did the engine modification.

Jim Keeble was the name I was looking for, yes.
Burns approached Keeble after the collapse of the G-K project with a view to building a series of V8 engined Alvis'. Keeble agreed as he had a surplus of engines left over from G-K. He outsourced the body modifications to Williams & Pritchard, and all chassis and running gear was Alvis TF spec.
