A selection of cars that I don't have positive IDs for, taken from a variety of sources.
Some of the cars I have a little information on, others I have no idea whatsoever. I'm not sure how I'm going to award points yet, we'll see if anything gets conclusively solved first. If any of these are reposts you'll get a point for pointing that out!

(By all means ask questions, but don't expect me to give you a decent answer!)

Okay, in no particular order, the cars:

barrett

#1
#2 - Lancia Astura (SACO) Still looking for more information

#3 - 1954 Gussenbauer Special (SACO)

#4 - Allard designed by Michael Eddowes (woodinsight) - still looking for the coachbuilder

#5 - DKW F7 by Karosseriefachbauschule Kaiserslautern (?) (SACO)

#6 - I believe I know the chassis/ engine but not much else

#7 - body by Karosseriefachbauschule Kaiserslautern on unknown chassis (Allemano) - still looking for more information about the base car

#8:Delettrez diesel ?

This is what I've heard it called, but I'm really not sure about that. Any evidence? I would like to know who the coachbuilder was too.

#1a : NSU 1000 1969 ?

Yes, this is what I have too. Really I'm looking for the constructor.

No idea about this one at all, I suppose it could be a Lancia! Any proof?

#2 : Astura with Wikipedia :

Well, searching 'Lancia Astura Asmara' brings up this photo, can somebody who speaks Italian add some more details please?

I'll award you one point (at the end) for finding the Make and Model but I'll give another point to anyone who can give me more details of the coachbuilder etc....

Again, I've seen this reported in one place on the internet. I have no idea how true this is, I really need to see some supporting evidence for this one!

I found it as a Delettrez diesel bodied by René Dhoedt in Paris, photographed at Enghien.
Sorry.  I didn't see that SACO already answered

Ah, Enghien. That's something I am sure of at least!  ;D

I have seen all this written on the internet but only mentioned in one or two places... I don't know where the information comes from. It may very well be right, but this car is so far removed from the Delettrez Diesel car I have seen before I am not willing to accept the solution without some corroborative evidence. There must exist somewhere a period publication with more information about this car...

I only know of the Delettrez Le Mans car which I always thought was based on a pre-war Delahaye or Delage chassis... The only other mention of René Dhoedt is in conjunction with bodying a pre-war Delage in the 1950s....

Well, this is almost certainly right. I have this as  NSU Spiess 1300 at the Nurburgring, 1969. Previous searched for NSU Spiess sent back so many results I assumed 'spiess' was a generic German term for 'sports' or something like that....  :P ::)

Another point for you SACO, if the rest of these ever get solved!

About Delettrez :

Not sure if it's a Bandini or a Lancia.....

Could be a DKW. I'm pretty sure it's German but I think it is form an outside coachbuilder rather that a factory prototype. I might be wrong though!
