Another Puzzle about cars, and songs about cars, and the artists who recorded those songs. This installment again spans the scale from "this is ridiculously easy" to "what, are you kidding me?!
The rules are thus: No points for naming one of these cars - they are all quite easy. The points will be awarded for identifying the artist (1 point each), the song (1 point each), and the correct pairing (1 point each) as represented by a corresponding picture of a car, or an automotive event. While many of these artist have gone onto more mundane walks of life, or that recording studio in the sky, and their records may be long-since out-of-print, there are no insider-only "you have to have the book" requirements. Patience and good detective work is all that is required to find the solution to all of these. The answers are all available to the general public.
Here they are - enjoy:

THEY'RE BACK!
Artist 14 is Clifton Chénier. Have to find the song, though.
EDIT: What about pairing him with the 1969 Continental limo (Song 4) through his 1970 song " Me and my chauffeur blues"?
Artists 7 are the California band Opus1, to be paired with Car Song 8 " Back Seat '38 Dodge" (inspired by the Ed Kienholz sculpture that was the subject of one of my Art& Cars puzzle). I think that Otto did find a picture of the dirty rear seat of a real 1938 2-door Dodge Touring Sedan that almost matches Kienholz's piece!
Unfortunately, Otto, Kienholz's Dodge was a 2-door indeed, but the REAR doors ;)
Is it too late to amend my Robert Earl Keen with Song #9 "Daddy had a Buick?" ;D

That's a bit tough to accurately answer. Musician? Yes. Actor? No. Well, at least not in the standard sense.
He recorded and performed before, during and after the 1970's.
The question is, if he's not an actor, what is he doing on these stairs with a gun in this uniform?
The answer is quite simple, but I'm not giving it away.
Is it an album cover?
Nope. Also not a music video.

Go to Davy Jones' locker, but don't Monkee around. Ask the person who owns it, 'bout this clue that you've found.
Tommy Boyce?
I told you to NOT Monkee around.

Boyce can be tied to either band. The Jones in my clue cannot.
If it's not another Davy, could it be Jack Jones with Song 5, "The Race is On?"
Please revisit the first Davey clue
Davy Jones' Locker is a Rocker from Norway?
No.
This Davey changed his name. One of the puzzle answers is similar to one of those names.

Not a member of Bowie's band; Bowie himself may lead you to the answer.

Right! An endorsement / jingle that you could take home on a 45 and play over and over again.
QuoteA sharp 6-piece group from Rumson and Seabright, NJ, the Mods often performed in Asbury Park and at Le Teen de Vous in Middletown, with competition like the Castiles (one of Springsteen's first bands) and the Inmates. The original band members were Rich Lillie on vocals and his brother Bob Lillie on guitar, Phil Watson lead guitar, Wally Hageman guitar, Bob Busch on bass and Bruce Cunningham on drums.
The band released two 45s on the Al Mott's Revelation VII label, the first a promotion for a local Ford dealer, Go Steinbach's Mustang, with a crude cover of Satisfaction on the flip.

No, but the title refers to a specific type of road.

I'm still not quite sure where the picture comes from, but Artist 10 is Norman Carl Odam, better known as the Legendary Stardust Cowboy, or just "The Ledge". He links to Song 5, "New Jersey Turnpike".

I wasn't so far, because The Speed Lovers makes great use of stock footage for the race sequences, including much from Red Line 7000. If I'm right, the footage of Fred Lorenzen Lafayette Ford N° 28 comes from there. Red Line 7000 also features the Atlanta Raceway (as, I believe the picture that you used). So this shot may indeed come from the Howard Hawks movie.
