Please identify this vehicle (you see, it's got four wheels :)) for a point. I only know a name, a country and the year when it was built.

The Yellow Submarine

That's not the name I have, not to mention, you did not said anything about country or when it was built

Citrôen (1935, 1936) - Kim Scholer while on vacation in Normandy came upon an incredible collection of junk, that the owner claimed was a technical museum. There was however, a
submarine car. It is based on a pre-war Citrôen car,and apparently had worked as intended. The 5CV engine can breath through a snorkel. The diving fins on the front and back suggest that it was more than a bottom crawler.

All info I found on this. :)

Thanks, I did not know its donor. 1935 and France - all we need now is a name. Locked for JMC for 24 hours

'Nautilus' is the name you are looking for.  :)

Congratulations. Well, I thought this would last longer, but you proved me wrong

I am sure that the puzzle pic and Carnut´s photo show two different vehicles!

Carnut´s vehicle is this one:
My oldest photo of it is from 1936, which claims a certain Mr. Michel Andre to be its constructor and does not tell a specific model name.

The next photo shows the same Andre vehicle probably with its inventor after having crossed the English Channel in 1939.

The photo at the bottom shows the so called "Notilus X-Z-55", built by a certain Mr. R.Burnet of Chalot-sur-Saone.
To my best knowledge it has been presented to the public in 1960.
I think this should most probably be the puzzle vehicle if you compare all the details.

The puzzle pic shares the same design and opening direction of the roof hatchway, the small front hatchway, the tires, the front screen etc. with the Burnet "Notilus X-Z-55"...

What do the others think?

I retract my earlier words and agree with the later statements :)

grobmotorix

Then it should be the 1960 Burnet Notilus X-Z-55  ;)

Are you sure about then name?
I think it was 'Nautilus'

Carnut

Strange as the top 2 of your photos are the same one yet it's spelled differently!
Looks like it's been written in on the photo (assume it's pre-photoshop days..!) and either someone has spelled it incorrectly or Burnet had a re-think and changed it!
