The windscreen looks like it was originally used on a Wartburg. Is this a one-off from GDR?

Sharp eye!  Keep track of this!

On the other hand... it seems the Wartburg screen is the only spare part used of that company. (except of some interior parts as I've read now)

DynaMike

The wheels look Volkswagen and the indicators Mercedes-Benz 220 Ponton...

Allemano

Yes, it's a mongrel and not a very pretty one!

Allemano

I need the name of the builder and of the car it is based on

bottom left shows the roadster version of the car before it got that ugly pale skin

Was its builder responsable (should I say guilty?) of other creations? Like Erdmann?

I thought this one was solved so I never bothered to find the name of the builder.... I just saved these pictures  ::)
Hopefully i'll be able to find it again.... It's based on a VW platform, that's all I know!

As far as I remember (I'll check it at home, later) it was the only car the builder ever made. (thank god!)

That's the one! I think it would be fair to lock this for you till your next reply.. (or for max. 72h!)

This car was named after it's builder. It's called "__-Coupé or "__-Wagen"
It's indeed built on a VW, though on a special VW.

woodinsight

I wonder if he was inspired by the Flintridge DKW Darrin - there are a few styling similarities

DeAutogids

Probablybased on a Kuebel.

Allemano

No.
Searching for clues I just found the location where it is currently exhibited:

Wendax

I know which collection it is, but still no name.  :(

I didn't get that hint. But at least it seems as if the East German Porsche VW special we discussed recently (in connection with the Miersch-Porsche) has found its way into that collection, too.
