It looks like straight from a Marvel comic. Is it just a drawing or was it really built?

It´s a scan from an advertisement.
The person behind this project is quite known and various types of special bodies have been planned for production.

I only know of a different car that carries the builder´s name. (That car has been an autopuzzles topic)

Maybe it has only been a brainchild, but I want to show you the second type of car from the ad here:

The second drawing in very similar to Airstream's one-off study on a Ford V8 in 1936, a car that was completed.
