Experts?
Pros?
Is it a Bohn creation ?
Holland Coachcraft on a ? chassis?
This was a scale model. I don't believe a full-size example was ever made.
Well-known designer and client
Raymond Loewy for Greyhound?
Not Raymond, but of a similar ilk.
The customer was not in the passenger transportation business.
Brooks Stevens?
Not him
Count Alexis de Sakhnoffsky?
The list of possibilities grows shorter. :)
Alex Tremulis?
Walter Dorwin Teague?
Harley Earl?
Bill Mitchell?
Not Mitchell, nor Earl.
Like Loewy and some of the others mentioned, motor vehicles were but a part of this designers portfolio.
Let's change the direction: Louis Lucien Lepoix?
Norman Bel Geddes?
John Tjaarda?
And it's a 1947 truck design for IBM.
I have it listed as "Norman Bel Geddes' design for an International Business Machine corporate bus"
Bus or truck? Hard to tell from the scale model.
Regardless, a point well-earned.
SIA call it a truck :)
I found it elsewhere; I'll dig it up over the weekend - it also shows the model under construction
