Who knows this vehicle?
^-^
Don´t tell me you know it already...
Don't worry, I've never seen it before.. :D
Experts?
No replies, yet.
It has even been frontpaged.
So I´ll open it for all...
Never seen it before, but my guess would be that it is East German. It probably was built for the "Messe der Meister von Morgen" in 1978. This "MMM" was an exhibition for young inventive talents.
Veeery good, Wendax.
This has indeed driven around at a special location in the GDR!
Who will be first?
At the Messegelände (fair ground) in Leipzig.
That would have been too easy ;)
It is the "lunar" car ,,Kosmokrator" in Görlitz, Park der Thälmann-Pioniere.
I´m deeply impressed!
Another point for you!
Does anybody know more. Are there any more photos of the Kosmokrator??
QuoteSo, why GDR and not DDR?
Well, english is the language at autopuzzles.com, so "DDR" is German Democratic Republic = "GDR"
Cool - I can modify the posts of other members... :o
Now I see that my answer has altered Ray B.´s original post!
I will not try and do this again - may any administrator check why this has been possible?
The park -as a side note- came into the news recently, as they discovered a painting there.

I learned German at highschool. So this was BDR and DDR to me.
And I don't know how you could modify my post. Maybe an old timer editor (older as an editor than me, so Otto or Ultra) does know.

Wasn't it BRD rather than BDR?
I can also alter other people's posts and have done it in error on several occasions so have had to undo what I've done...
BRD = "Bundesrepublik Deutschland" is correct.
I still can modify other members post and I don´t know if I like it... :-\
I've PM'd Charlie to see what's up.
Just be sure to click "quote", not "modify" and you should be OK. If you find you've clicked "modify" in error, use the "back" function of your browser. If you've already saved the unintentional changes, you car re-edit to their original state by using the back button again a couple of times, and copying and pasting the original content in the edited post,, and making a note of it.
I've made the error of accidentally changing posts I meant to quote, and have followed the remedial steps I outlined above.

Thank you... It kinda scares me that I can even modify your posts :nerves:

This is all exactly what's happened to me and how I've rectified it!
All - this should be fixed now (i.e., you shouldn't be able to modify others' posts now).
Let us know if you continue to encounter the problem.
Thanks!
QuoteIt is still possible but I will not use it any more from now.
Sorry for all the fuzz, but I want to keep my favorite website safe and reliable...
