Sorry, not my puzzle I know, but if I may step in here, the GP Talon pre-dates the Ascona C/Cavalier, and the rear lights are taken from the Simca 1308/Chrysler Alpine.  :-[

After a bit of a rest, yet another car to use the Ascona C/Cavalier tail lights; the late-build Ginetta G28s!

Obviously no point for that, it's just the Irmscher version:

Sorry Julien but the later model lights don't count - otherwise we would never end this one.

Another addition to the Opel Ascona C/Vauxhall Cavalier II tail lamps file; the Puma AM3 (and AM4), which used rear lights from the Brazilian GM J-Car cousin, the Chevrolet Monza.

Museum Autovision in Aktlussheim in Germany.
A highly recommendable place.
They currently display the biggest NSU range of cars
and have a remarkable Bugatti exhibition with
Ralph Lauren's T57 Atlantique and many others.

And yet another car to use Opel Ascona C/Vauxhall Cavalier II/Chevrolet Monza BR tail lights; the Galco buggy from Brazil.
